North Carolina's online sports betting market launch is now less than two months away. Caesars has a deal to follow companies like BetMGM and DraftKings to allow the rollout.
Businesses seeking approval to operate sports betting must partner with sports teams, leagues or stadiums within North Carolina.
DraftKings announced a partnership with NASCAR, making it the stock car racing company's exclusive daily fantasy sports partner. Meanwhile, BetMGM agreed to a market access deal with Charlotte Motor Speedway in early January. The Concord-based complex regularly hosts NASCAR races.
In addition, Fanatics Betting and Gaming has announced a deal with the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes, and fantasy sports app Underdog will work with McConnell Golf to support licensing applications.
ESPN Bet has signed an agreement to become the official betting operator for Quail Hollow Golf Club. As part of this agreement, ESPN Bet became the official betting operator for Wells Fargo Championship in North Carolina.
